The major determinant of blood culture (BC) diagnostic performance is blood volume, and pediatric sample volumes are frequently low. We aimed to assess BC volumes in our institution, design an intervention to increase volumes, and assess its impact. All pediatric BCs submitted over a 7-month period to the microbiology laboratory in a university hospital (including emergency department, pediatric ward, and neonatal unit) were included. A pre-intervention period assessed current practice. A multi-faceted intervention (education, guideline introduction, active feedback strategies) was collaboratively designed by all stakeholders. Impact was assessed in a post-intervention period. The main outcome measures included the percentage of samples adequately filled using three measures of sample adequacy (1) manufacturer-recommended minimum validated volume-> 0.5 ml, (2) manufacturer-recommended optimal minimum volume-> 1.0 ml, (3) newly introduced age-specific recommendations. Three hundred ninety-eight pre-intervention and 388 post-intervention samples were included. Initial volumes were low but increased significantly post-intervention (median 0.77 ml vs. 1.52 ml), with multivariable regression analysis estimating volumes increased 89% post-intervention. There were significant increases in all measures of volume adequacy, including an increase in age-appropriate filling (20.4-53.1%), with less improvement in those aged > 3 years. Overall, 68.4% of pathogens were from adequately filled cultures, while 76% of contaminants were from inadequately filled cultures. A pathogen was detected in a higher proportion of adequately filled than inadequately filled cultures (9.4% vs. 2.2%, p < 0.001).  Conclusion: Blood volume impacts BC sensitivity, with lower volumes yielding fewer pathogens and more contaminants. Focused intervention can significantly improve volumes to improve diagnostic performance. What is Known: • Blood volume is the major determinant of blood culture positivity, and yet pediatric blood culture volumes are frequently low, resulting in missed pathogens and increased contamination. What is New: • Adequately filled (for age) blood cultures have a pathogen detection rate three times higher than inadequately filled blood cultures. • This interventional study shows that collaboratively designed multi-modal interventions including focus on accurate volume measurement can lead to significant increases in blood volumes and improve blood culture diagnostic performance.

The best Vaccinium corymbosum plant growth under in vitro conditions can be achieved by using the right composition and pH of the medium. For the initial phase of in vitro culture, a combination of cytokinins-mostly zeatin-can usually be used. Organic supplementation of the medium enables the use of a replacement for the expensive natural cytokinin used in micropropagation of highbush blueberry. This chapter describes the experiments with silicon Hydroplus™ Actisil (Si), coconut water (CW), and different pH (5.0; 5.5, and 6.0) as a stress factor. The addition of 200 mg dm-3 silicon solution and 15% coconut water strongly stimulated highbush blueberry plant growth in vitro. Moreover, silicon solution benefits the negative effects of higher pH of the medium used for micropropagation of V. corymbosum. Maximum vegetative development of blueberry explants was obtained at pH 5.

Coffea arabica L. is a crucial crop globally, but its genetic homogeneity leads to its susceptibility to diseases and pests like the coffee berry borer (CBB). Chemical and cultural control methods are difficult due to the majority of the CBB life cycle taking place inside coffee beans. One potential solution is the use of the gene cyt1Aa from Bacillus thuringiensis as a biological insecticide. To validate candidate genes against CBB, a simple, rapid, and efficient transient expression system is necessary. This study uses cell suspensions as a platform for expressing the cyt1Aa gene in the coffee genome (C. arabica L. var. Catuaí) to control CBB. The Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain GV3101::pMP90 containing the bar and cyt1Aa genes are used to genetically transform embryogenic cell suspensions. PCR amplification of the cyt1Aa gene is observed 2, 5, and 7 weeks after infection. This chapter describes a protocol that can be used for the development of resistant varieties against biotic and abiotic stresses and CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing.

Astrocytes and ependymal cells have been reported to be able to switch from a mature cell identity towards that of a neural stem/progenitor cell. Astrocytes are widely scattered in the brain where they exert multiple functions and are routinely targeted for in vitro and in vivo reprogramming. Ependymal cells serve more specialized functions, lining the ventricles and the central canal, and are multiciliated, epithelial-like cells that, in the spinal cord, act as bi-potent progenitors in response to injury. Here, we isolate or generate ependymal cells and post-mitotic astrocytes, respectively, from the lateral ventricles of the mouse brain and we investigate their capacity to reverse towards a progenitor-like identity in culture. Inhibition of the GSK3 and TGFß pathways facilitates the switch of mature astrocytes to Sox2-expressing, mitotic cells that generate oligodendrocytes. Although this medium allows for the expansion of quiescent NSCs, isolated from live rats by "milking of the brain", it does not fully reverse astrocytes towards the bona fide NSC identity; this is a failure correlated with a concomitant lack of neurogenic activity. Ependymal cells could be induced to enter mitosis either via exposure to neuraminidase-dependent stress or by culturing them in the presence of FGF2 and EGF. Overall, our data confirm that astrocytes and ependymal cells retain a high capacity to reverse to a progenitor identity and set up a simple and highly controlled platform for the elucidation of the molecular mechanisms that regulate this reversal.

Acute intoxication with organophosphorus (OP) cholinesterase inhibitors can produce seizures that rapidly progress to life-threatening status epilepticus. Significant research effort has been focused on investigating the involvement of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (mAChRs) in OP-induced seizure activity. In contrast, there has been far less attention on nicotinic AChRs (nAChRs) in this context. Here, we address this data gap using a combination of in vitro and in vivo models. Pharmacological antagonism and genetic deletion of α4, but not α7, nAChR subunits prevented or significantly attenuated OP-induced electrical spike activity in acute hippocampal slices and seizure activity in mice, indicating that α4 nAChR activation is necessary for neuronal hyperexcitability triggered by acute OP exposures. These findings not only suggest that therapeutic strategies for inhibiting the α4 nAChR subunit warrant further investigation as prophylactic and immediate treatments for acute OP-induced seizures, but also provide mechanistic insight into the role of the nicotinic cholinergic system in seizure generation.

Quinone derivatives of triphenylphosphonium have proven themselves to be effective geroprotectors and antioxidants that prevent oxidation of cell components with participation of active free radicals - peroxide (RO2·), alkoxy (RO·), and alkyl (R·) radicals, as well as reactive oxygen species (superoxide anion, singlet oxygen). Their most studied representatives are derivatives of plastoquinone (SkQ1) and ubiquinone (MitoQ), which in addition to antioxidant properties also have a strong antibacterial effect. In this study, we investigated antibacterial properties of other quinone derivatives based on decyltriphenylphosphonium (SkQ3, SkQT, and SkQThy). We have shown that they, just like SkQ1, inhibit growth of various Gram-positive bacteria at micromolar concentrations, while being less effective against Gram-negative bacteria, which is associated with recognition of the triphenylphosphonium derivatives by the main multidrug resistance (MDR) pump of Gram-negative bacteria, AcrAB-TolC. Antibacterial action of SkQ1 itself was found to be dependent on the number of bacterial cells. It is important to note that the cytotoxic effect of SkQ1 on mammalian cells was observed at higher concentrations than the antibacterial action, which can be explained by (i) the presence of a large number of membrane organelles, (ii) lower membrane potential, (iii) spatial separation of the processes of energy generation and transport, and (iv) differences in the composition of MDR pumps. Differences in the cytotoxic effects on different types of eukaryotic cells may be associated with the degree of membrane organelle development, energy status of the cell, and level of the MDR pump expression.

In the present study, the potential of Pseudomonas citronellolis 620C strain was evaluated, for the first time, to generate electricity in a standard, double chamber microbial fuel cell (MFC), with oily wastewater (OW) being the fuel at 43.625 mg/L initial chemical oxygen demand (COD). Both electrochemical and physicochemical results suggested that this P. citronellolis strain utilized efficiently the OW substrate and generated electricity in the MFC setup reaching 0.05 mW/m2 maximum power. COD removal was remarkable reaching 83.6 ± 0.1%, while qualitative and quantitative gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis of the OW total petroleum and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and fatty acids revealed high degradation capacity. It was also determined that P. citronellolis 620C produced pyocyanin as electron shuttle in the anodic MFC chamber. To the authors' best knowledge, this is the first study showing (phenazine-based) pyocyanin production from a species other than P. aeruginosa and, also, the first time that P. citronellolis 620C has been shown to produce electricity in a MFC. The production of pyocyanin, in combination with the formation of biofilm in the MFC anode, as observed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis, makes this P. citronellolis strain an attractive and promising candidate for wider MFC applications.

BACKGROUND: Without clear signs of infection, spinal implant failure is attributed to mechanical overloads and aseptic loosening. However, how low-grade infections contribute to seemingly aseptic implant failure is unclear. PURPOSE: The systematic review examined unexpected positive cultures (UPCs) in revision spine surgery regarding prevalence, isolated pathogens, risk factors, and strategies to reduce infection among asymptomatic patients undergoing revision spine surgery. METHODS: We followed the PRISMA guidelines and searched four main databases (PubMed, EMBASE, SCOPUS, Web of Science) comprehensively until January 2023 for articles reporting UPC after presumed aseptic adult revision spine surgery. The UPC rates were pooled, and risk factors were compared with the culture-negative control group and represented as odds ratio (OR) or mean difference (MD). RESULTS: Fifteen studies of 1057 individuals were included in two groups: culture-positive or UPCs (n = 317) and culture-negative or control (n = 740). The overall UPC prevalence was 33.2% (317/1057, range: 0 to 53%, 95% CI = 30.2%-36.4%), and Cutibacterium acnes (43.0%, 95% CI = 37.4%-48.8%), Coagulase-negative Staphylococci (CoNS), (39.5%, 95% CI = 33.2%-46.2%), and Staphylococcus species in general (49.5%, 95%CI = 43.7%-55.4%) were reported the most common isolated microbes. 16.1% of the UPCs were polymicrobial. Risk factors associated with UPC rates were female sex (OR = 2.62, 95%CI = 1.76-3.90, P < 0.001), screw loosening (OR = 4.43, 95%CI = 1.31-15.02, P = 0.02), number of operated levels (MD = 0.77, 95%CI = 0.33-1.22, P = 0.0007), and shorter time since index surgery (MD = - 8.57 months, 95%CI = - 14.76, -2.39, P = 0.02). CONCLUSIONS: One-third of patients undergoing spine revision surgery revealed UPC in this study. Each UPC pathogen interpretation and antibiotic use decision should be interpreted case by case. Urinary tract infections are among the most common infectious diagnoses in health care, but most urinary tract infections are diagnosed inappropriately in patients without signs or symptoms of infection. Asymptomatic bacteriuria leads to inappropriate antibiotic prescribing and negative downstream effects, including antimicrobial resistance, health care-associated infections, and adverse drug events. Diagnostic stewardship is the process of modifying the ordering, performing, or reporting of test results to improve clinical care. Diagnostic stewardship impacts the diagnostic pathway to decrease inappropriate detection and treatment of asymptomatic bacteriuria. This article reviews diagnostic stewardship methods and closes with a case study illustrating these principles in practice.

INTRODUCTION: Early and adequate treatment of bloodstream infections decreases patient morbidity and mortality. The objective is to develop a preliminary method for rapid antibiotic susceptibility testing (RAST) in enterobacteria with inducible chromosomal AmpC. METHODS: RAST was performed directly on spiked blood cultures of 49 enterobacteria with inducible chromosomal AmpC. Results were read at 4, 6 and 8h of incubation. Commercial broth microdilution was considered the reference method. Disks of 10 antibiotics were evaluated. RESULTS: The proportion of readable tests at 4h was 85%. All RAST could be read at 6 and 8h. For most antibiotics, the S or R result at 4, 6 and 8h was greater than 80% after tentative breakpoints were established and Area of Technical Uncertainty was defined. CONCLUSIONS: This preliminary method seems to be of practical use, although it should be extended to adjust the breakpoints and differentiate them by species.

Pretilachlor and safener fenclorim are the main components of herbicides widely applied to control weeds. Although some pure cultures of bacteria and fungi which degraded these compounds under aerobic conditions were isolated, no isolated pretilachlor- and fenclorim-degrading bacterial strains under anaerobic condition had been available. In this study, the degradation of these compounds and the effects of them on bacterial community structures were investigated under anaerobic conditions. The dissipation rates of pretilachlor and fenclorim in slurries were in the order: soil from paddy field ≈ sediment from river > sediment from mangrove. Moreover, three pretilachlor-degrading bacterial strains (Pseudomonas sp. Pr1, Proteiniclasticum sp. Pr2 and Paracoccus denitrificans Pr3) and two fenclorim-degrading strains (Dechloromonas sp. Fe1 and Ralstonia pickettii Fe2) isolated from a slurry of paddy soil utilized the substrates as sole carbon and energy sources under anaerobic conditions. The degradation of pure pretilachlor and fenclorim at various concentrations by corresponding mixed pure cultures followed the Michaelis-Menten model, with the maximum degradation was 3.10 ± 0.31 µM/day for pretilachlor, and 2.08 ± 0.18 µM/day for fenclorim. During the degradation, 2-chloro-N-(2,6-diethylphenyl) acetamide and 2,6-dimethylaniline were produced in pretilachlor degradation, and benzene was a product of fenclorim degradation. The synergistic degradation of both substrates by all isolated bacteria reduced the metabolites concentrations accumulated in media. This study provides valuable information on effects of pretilachlor and fenclorim on bacterial communities in soil and sediments, and degradation of these substrates by isolated bacteria under anaerobic condition.

The pro-angiogenic abilities of adipose-derived stromal cells (ASCs) make them attractive candidates for cellular therapy, especially for ischemic disease indications. However, details regarding the underlying mechanisms remain elusive. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate paracrine and juxtacrine abilities of ASCs in angiogenesis triple cell co-cultures by detailed image analysis of the vascular-like structures. Fibroblast-endothelial cell co-cultures were established, and ASCs were added directly or indirectly through inserts. The cultures were treated with antibodies or subjected to analyses using ELISA and RT2 PCR Arrays. The model consistently generated vascular-like structures. ASCs increased the total branch lengths equally well in paracrine and juxtacrine conditions, by increasing the number of branches and average branch lengths (ABL). In contrast, addition of VEGF to the model increased the number of branches, but not the ABL. Still, ASCs increased the VEGF levels in supernatants of paracrine and juxtacrine co-cultures, and anti-VEGF treatment decreased the sprouting. ASCs themselves up-regulated collagen type V in response to paracrine signals from the co-cultures. The results suggest that ASCs initiate sprouting through secretion of several paracrine factors, among which VEGF is identified, but VEGF alone does not recapitulate the paracrine actions of ASCs. By employing neutralizing antibodies and dismantling common model outputs using image analysis, the triple cell co-culture is an attractive tool for discovery of the paracrine factors in ASCs' secretome which act in concert with VEGF to improve angiogenesis.

Vitis vinifera L. possesses high economic value, but its growth and yield are seriously affected by salt stress. Though melatonin (MT) has been widely reported to enhance tolerance towards abiotic stresses in plants, the regulatory role melatonin plays in resisting salt tolerance in grapevines has scarcely been studied. Here, we observed the phenotypes under the treatment of different melatonin concentrations, and then transcriptome and metabolome analyses were performed. A total of 457 metabolites were detected in CK- and MT-treated cell cultures at 1 WAT (week after treatment) and 4 WATs. Exogenous melatonin treatment significantly increased the endogenous melatonin content while down-regulating the flavonoid content. To be specific, the melatonin content was obviously up-regulated, while the contents of more than a dozen flavonoids were down-regulated. Auxin response genes and melatonin synthesis-related genes were regulated by the exogenous melatonin treatment. WGCNA (weighted gene coexpression network analysis) identified key salt-responsive genes; they were directly or indirectly involved in melatonin synthesis and auxin response. The synergistic effect of salt and melatonin treatment was investigated by transcriptome analysis, providing additional evidence for the stress-alleviating properties of melatonin through auxin-related pathways. The present study explored the impact of exogenous melatonin on grapevines' ability to adapt to salt stress and provided novel insights into enhancing their tolerance to salt stress.

Background: We aimed to determine the factors associated with sequential blood culture time to positivity (STTP) and validate the previously defined time to positivity (TTP) ratio threshold of 1.5 in predicting adverse disease outcomes and mortality of Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia (SAB). Methods: We conducted an observational study of adult patients with SAB. The TTP ratio was calculated by dividing the TTP of the second blood culture by that of the first. Results: Of 186 patients, 69 (37%) were female, with a mean age of 63.6 years. Median TTP was 12 hours (interquartile range [IQR], 10-15 hours) from the initial and 21 hours (17-29) from sequential blood cultures. Methicillin-resistant S aureus (MRSA)-infected patients had significantly shorter STTPs (P < .001) and lower TTP ratios (P < .001) compared to patients with methicillin-susceptible S aureus (MSSA). A significant correlation between initial and STTP was observed in patients with MRSA (r = 0.42, P = .002) but not in those with MSSA. A higher rate of native valve endocarditis (NVE) significantly correlated with a TTP ratio of ≤1.5 (odds ratio, 2.65 [95% confidence interval, 1.3-5.6]; P = .01). The subgroup having an initial TTP <12 hours combined with a TTP ratio ≤1.5 showed the highest prevalence of NVE. Conclusions: The STTP varies based on methicillin susceptibility of S aureus isolate. This study suggests a potential clinical utility of the STTP to identify patients at a higher risk of NVE. However, prospective studies are required to validate these findings.

We examine the use of time series data, derived from Electric Cell-substrate Impedance Sensing (ECIS), to differentiate between standard mammalian cell cultures and those infected with a mycoplasma organism. With the goal of easy visualization and interpretation, we perform low-dimensional feature-based classification, extracting application-relevant features from the ECIS time courses. We can achieve very high classification accuracy using only two features, which depend on the cell line under examination. Initial results also show the existence of experimental variation between plates and suggest types of features that may prove more robust to such variation. Our paper is the first to perform a broad examination of ECIS time course features in the context of detecting contamination; to combine different types of features to achieve classification accuracy while preserving interpretability; and to describe and suggest possibilities for ameliorating plate-to-plate variation.

Introduction: Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a widely used therapeutic tool in neurology and psychiatry, but its cellular and molecular mechanisms are not fully understood. Standardizing stimulus parameters, specifically electric field strength, is crucial in experimental and clinical settings. It enables meaningful comparisons across studies and facilitates the translation of findings into clinical practice. However, the impact of biophysical properties inherent to the stimulated neurons and networks on the outcome of rTMS protocols remains not well understood. Consequently, achieving standardization of biological effects across different brain regions and subjects poses a significant challenge. Methods: This study compared the effects of 10 Hz repetitive magnetic stimulation (rMS) in entorhino-hippocampal tissue cultures from mice and rats, providing insights into the impact of the same stimulation protocol on similar neuronal networks under standardized conditions. Results: We observed the previously described plastic changes in excitatory and inhibitory synaptic strength of CA1 pyramidal neurons in both mouse and rat tissue cultures, but a higher stimulation intensity was required for the induction of rMS-induced synaptic plasticity in rat tissue cultures. Through systematic comparison of neuronal structural and functional properties and computational modeling, we found that morphological parameters of CA1 pyramidal neurons alone are insufficient to explain the observed differences between the groups. Although morphologies of mouse and rat CA1 neurons showed no significant differences, simulations confirmed that axon morphologies significantly influence individual cell activation thresholds. Notably, differences in intrinsic cellular properties were sufficient to account for the 10% higher intensity required for the induction of synaptic plasticity in the rat tissue cultures. Conclusion: These findings demonstrate the critical importance of axon morphology and intrinsic cellular properties in predicting the plasticity effects of rTMS, carrying valuable implications for the development of computer models aimed at predicting and standardizing the biological effects of rTMS.

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) are biobased and biodegradable polymers that could effectively replace fossil-based and non-biodegradable plastics. However, their production is currently limited by the high production costs, mainly due to the costly carbon sources used, low productivity and quality of the materials produced. A potential solution lies in utilizing cheap and renewable carbon sources as the primary feedstock during the biological production of PHAs, paving the way for a completely sustainable and economically viable process. In this review, the opportunities and challenges related to the production of polyhydroxyalkanoates using methane and volatile fatty acids (VFAs) as substrates were explored, with a focus on poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) and poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate). The discussion reports the current knowledge about promising Type II methanotrophs, the impact of process parameters such as limiting nutrients, CH4:O2 ratio and temperature, the type of co-substrate and its concentration. Additionally, the strategies developed until now to enhance PHA production yields were also discussed.

OBJECTIVES: To ascertain whether infective endocarditis (IE) was associated with persistent bacteraemia/candidaemia among patients with suspected IE. METHODS: This study included bacteraemic/candidaemic adult patients with echocardiography and follow-up blood cultures. Persistent bacteraemia/candidaemia was defined as continued positive blood cultures with the same microorganism for 48 h or more after antibiotic treatment initiation. Each case was classified for IE by the Endocarditis Team. RESULTS: Among 1962 episodes of suspected IE, IE (605; 31%) was the most prevalent infection type. Persistent bacteraemia/candidaemia was observed in 426 (22%) episodes. Persistent bacteraemia was more common among episodes with Staphylococcus aureus bacteraemia compared to episodes with positive blood cultures for other pathogens (32%, 298/933 vs 12%, 128/1029; P < 0.001). Multivariable analysis demonstrated that cardiac predisposing factors (aOR 1.84, 95% CI 1.31-2.60), community or non-nosocomial healthcare-associated (2.85, 2.10-3.88), bacteraemia by high-risk bacteria, such as S. aureus, streptococci, enterococci or HACEK (1.84, 1.31-2.60), two or more positive sets of index blood cultures (6.99, 4.60-10.63), persistent bacteraemia/candidaemia for 48 h from antimicrobial treatment initiation (1.43, 1.05-1.93), embolic events within 48h from antimicrobial treatment initiation (12.81, 9.43-17.41), and immunological phenomena (3.87, 1.09-1.78) were associated with infective endocarditis. CONCLUSIONS: IE was associated with persistent bacteraemia/candidaemia, along with other commonly associated factors.

This paper provides comprehensive and systematized lists of names of 'moko' drums from Alor Island, in Southeast Indonesia. 'Moko' drums are unique cultural objects from the Alor-Pantar Archipelago and, besides their ancient function of ritual instruments used mainly for religious purposes and in public events by the indigenous peoples of the islands, they represented and still are considered a very valuable local 'currency' for trade and for specific social interactions rooted in aboriginal culture, like bride price negotiations. Despite the fact that they are extremely popular and widespread among Papuan peoples in Alor and Pantar, the origins of these drums are still relatively obscure. The native speakers, indeed, cannot explain the name 'moko' in itself, at the etymological and semantic level, and, despite the fact that they agree upon non-local origins of the instruments, they do not know where the instruments themselves were produced and from where they came to the islands. Our paper provides the readers with comprehensive lists that systematically collect the names of the drums, with the related glosses and basic additional information, from three representative Papuan languages of Alor Island, namely Abui, Sawila, and Kula. Configured as potentially indispensable tools to develop further research, these lists enhance our knowledge and understanding of the culture of the 'moko' drums in the Alor-Pantar Archipelago, at the linguistic (etymology of the names), anthropological (social value of the drums), and archeological (typology and provenance of the instruments) levels. This cataloguing operation is also part of the effort of documentation of the languages and cultures, still scarcely documented and definitely endangered, of the native peoples of the Alor-Pantar Archipelago.

In view of climate change and the increasingly antagonistic wine market, the exploitation of native genetic resources is revisited in relation to sustainable wine production. 'Sideritis' is a late-ripening Greek grape variety, which is quite promising for counteracting wine quality issues associated with the annual temperature rise. The aim of this study was to improve the quality and to enhance the aroma of 'Sideritis' wine through the use of native yeasts. To improve vinification, Hanseniaspora opuntiae L1 was used along with Saccharomyces cerevisiae W7 in mixed fermentations (SQ). The addition of H. οpuntiae significantly altered the chemical profile of the wine compared to the single-inoculated fermentations with W7 (IS). H. opuntiae increased all the acetate esters, except for hexyl acetate and (Z)-3-hexen-1-ol acetate. The concentration of 2-phenylethyl acetate, which imparts flowery and sweet notes, exhibited a 2.6-fold increase in SQ as compared to IS wines. SQ also showed higher levels in several ethyl esters, including ethyl butyrate, ethyl heptanoate and ethyl 7-octenoate, which are associated with fruity notes compared to IS. H. opuntiae produced citronellol, a terpene associated with rose and green notes, and increased the overall acceptance of the wine. Present results are thus quite promising for improving 'Sideritis' wine quality towards a sustainable wine production in Greece in view of global warming.
